Usplash Themes
Disappointed with the pixelized Usplash screen that ships by default with Debian GNU/Linux, I created my own using GIMP, Inkscape, and jedit.
I have only released one, but I plan to release more.
Usplash Debian Swirl
Usplash Debian Swirl features the Debian Swirl Logo prominently and stays true the the Debian.org color palette. This usplash screen supports the following resolutions:
- 1600x1200
- 1365x768
- 1024x768
- 800x600
- 640x480
- 640x400

Installation Instructions
- su root
- dpkg -i usplash-theme-debian-swirl_1.0.0_i386.deb
- update-alternatives --config usplash-artwork.so
- select the /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-theme-debian-swirl.so file
- dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-$(uname -r)
